INFORMATION ABOUT ATTENDING WAR WITH MINORS:

The Kingdom of Atenveldt welcomes families to attend Estrella War XXIII with their minor children. We ask that you come prepared with proper legal documents and present these documents at the Troll Booth when you pay your site fee.

MINORS ATTENDING WITH PARENTS: Each minor attending Estrella War XXIII with their parent or legal guardian must have an SCA Minor Waiver filed with the Troll Booth when they enter the event, OR the minor must be included on a Family Minor Waiver filed with the Troll Booth when the family enters the event. These forms will be provided at Troll. The SCA Minor/Family Minor Waiver form does not need to be notarized.

ATTENDING WITH MINORS NOT YOUR OWN: Minors may attend Estrella War XXIII with a Temporary Guardian appointed by their parent/legal guardian for the duration of the event by providing TWO (2) copies of each of the TWO (2) documents listed below. One copy will be retained by the SCA at the Troll Booth; the Temporary Guardian/minor will keep the original copy during the event. The two required forms are:

1.      A notarized Temporary Guardianship Form designating who is responsible for the minor and signed by the parent or legal guardian with the parent(s) contact information.

2.      A notarized Medical Authorization for Minors Form for the minor signed by the the parent/legal guardian.

The Kingdom of Atenveldt and the Estrella War XXIII Staff welcome minors at Estrella War XXIII. We believe families add to the fun and realism of the Current Middle Ages. We ask your cooperation in ensuring all of these forms are completed and notarized for each minor NOT your own before you leave home. If you have any questions, please contact the Main Autocrats, Troll Booth Autocrat, or the Children's Activities Coordinator for answers before you begin your travel to the land of the Aten Sun.

INFORMATION ABOUT NSF CHECKS:

There will be a $15.00 charge for all checks that are returned for insufficient funds. The registrant will then have to provide a money order, cashiers check, or cash for the amount of the registration plus the $15.00 NSF fee in order to pre register for Estrella War XXIII or cash for the amount of the registration plus the $15.00 NSF fee in order to register at the check-in Gate/Troll for Estrella XXIII.

INFORMATION ABOUT TRANSFERS OF PRE REGISTRATIONS:

Your Estrella War XXIII pre-registration may be transferred to another individual by writing “I hereby transfer this pre-registration to (Mundane Name of person transferring to)” on your pre-registration confirmation letter and signing your mundane name. The transferee must meet the check-in criteria. There will be no partial refunds for transferred pre-registrations.

INFORMATION ABOUT REFUNDS:

Refund requests must be in writing and postmarked or E-mailed by December 31, 2006 to the Estrella War Exchequer. Refund requests must include the same information submitted on the pre-registration form. There will be a $5.00 processing fee per refund request. Refunds are not guaranteed after the December 31 deadline. Each post 12/31 refund request will be reviewed on a case by case basis for emergency contingencies by the Estrella War Exchequer and the Main Autocrat. No refunds will be considered for any reason for requests postmarked or E-mailed after February 12, 2007.

INFORMATION ABOUT CHECK-IN AT WAR:

All adult attendees of Estrella War XXIII will be asked to show photo ID and proof of current SCA membership at check-in. Without proof of current SCA membership you will be required to pay non-member fees.

Only those pre-registered for Tuesday, February 13 arrival will be admitted on Tuesday. All others must wait until Wednesday, February 14 or later for admission.
